Message from the Executive Director

Nepal’s hydropower potential is one of our greatest national assets, and at White Lotus Power Ltd., we are committed to unlocking that potential in a responsible and forward-thinking manner. Our objective is not only to generate clean electricity, but also to contribute to long-term national development through energy access, local empowerment, and environmental care.

The Hidi Khola Hydropower Project is one of our key undertakings and a significant step toward achieving that vision. Located in the hills of Lamjung, this run-of-river project has been carefully planned to balance technical efficiency with environmental and social responsibility. Despite challenging terrain and logistical hurdles, our dedicated team has continued to move forward with focus and integrity.

Since the company’s conversion to a public limited entity in 2021, we have also prioritized transparency, accountability, and stakeholder engagement. We believe energy development must benefit local communities, support industrial growth, and align with Nepal’s broader ambitions to become a regional leader in clean energy.

Looking ahead, our goal is to complete the Hidi Khola project with high technical standards, while maintaining strong community partnerships and environmental safeguards. We are grateful for the trust placed in us by our shareholders, local authorities, and partner institutions. With their continued support, we aim to build energy infrastructure that will serve Nepal for generations to come.
